The
Kalamazoo Center
|
When
the old Burdick Hotel closed in 1972 plans were quickly drafted
for a new convention hotel. That hotel would become The
Kalamazoo Center, a hotel and shopping center filling
the entire Burdick block. The $15 million complex was designed
to enhance the newly renovated Kalamazoo Mall. The lower two
levels of the Center offer restaurant and shopping space with
entrances to all the major streets. The Center is also connected
to a parking garage via a covered bridge. It currently offers
a 280 room Radisson.
