Along with the neighboring Orpheum Building this storefront has also survived along W. Michigan Ave. The building features elements of the Italianate style with its roofline details and tall narrow windows. The projecting 2nd floor bay window was added after the building's completion in the late 1860's.

According to the 1939 City Directory this address housed the Samual Becker Shoe Store and the John Kling Tailor Shop.
