Frederick Taylor House

Spring-tooth harrow maker Frederick Taylor built this impressive Queen Anne in 1889. The building's most impressive features are its tower and curved glass.

In 1902 James Hatfield of the Kalamazoo Corset Company moved into the home. Another prominant businessman would move into the home in 1922. Louis Sutherland of the Sutherland Paper Company lived here until the 1940's.
