Albert Todd House

This Italianate home was built in 1873 for Albert Todd, the 'mint king.' Todd had founded the A.M. Todd Company at the corner of Rose and Kalamazoo. By 1894 it was said he controlled half the world's supply of mint. Todd also collected works of art throughout the world. Many of his pieces can today be seen in the Kalamazoo Valley Museum.
