George Stockbridge House

This elaborate Queen Anne styled mansion was built by George Stockbridge, nephew of Senator Francis Stockbridge, in 1885. However, Stockbridge died in the early 1890's and the home was purchased by Herbert Everard. Everard was a printer with Everard & Ihling on E. Michigan Ave. Everard also had a strong interest in the Bryant Paper Company.
