Said
to have cost over a quarter million dollors, this elaborate
mission revival styled apartment building opened in 1924. The
Malborough Apartments were designed
by local architects Billingham & Cobb and built by Henry
L. Vanderhorst.
It
was the city's finest such structure. Tenants were offered complete
heat, lighting, gas, ice, telephone, laundry, maid and janitor
services. The building currently functions as condominiums.
