John F. Gilmore House

This English Tudor home was built for John F. Gilmore, founder of Gilmore's Department Store. Completed in 1908 Gilmore was to die before moving in. John's wife, Carrie would live in the house before marrying neighbor William E. Upjohn. The home was eventually donated to the Red Cross.
