Local builder William L. Welsh erected this upscale apartment triplex in 1895. The Queen Anne structure had several prominant tennants. Notable among them was Frank Milham, one of the founders of the Bryant Paper Company.

Welsh had a number of Kalamazoo's best building's to his credit. Among them is Ihling and Everard Building on E. Michigan Ave.
