When
Samuel Rosenbaum's Kalamazoo Pant Company
outgrew its quarters in the William A. Doyle Building Rosenbaum
had this six story steel and concrete structure erected just
down the street. The company moved into the block in 1907. Its
successor, Redwood and Ross, remained here until 1998. The building
exhibits the simple modern style that had developed in the early
years of the 20th century. It was one of the first buildings
in Kalamazoo to exceed 4 stories
