The Rosenbaum Block

When Samuel Rosenbaum's Kalamazoo Pant Company outgrew its quarters in the William A. Doyle Building Rosenbaum had this six story steel and concrete structure erected just down the street. The company moved into the block in 1907. Its successor, Redwood and Ross, remained here until 1998. The building exhibits the simple modern style that had developed in the early years of the 20th century. It was one of the first buildings in Kalamazoo to exceed 4 stories
