Built in a vastly different style and era then the neighboring Button Jannasch Building the William E. Kreeger bears a mark of 1924. Like the earlier Charles Jannasch, William E. Kreeger was one of the promenant members of Kalamazoo's German community. He had investments in the coal and wood industries.
