Just east of the Peninsular Building are these recently restored Italianate business blocks. According to Elizabeth Mayer's 'Yes, There were Germans in Kalamazoo' the orange brick building housed Fischer's Meat Market in the 1880's. The 1939 City Directory list the Lee Moy Laundry and the Celery City Tailoring Company as occuping the address. Today this is home to Aries London Grill.
