In
1904 Burdick Street would be further enhanced with the addition
of this three story storefront. The Boudeman
Building was a business block of the new century yet
it clung to ideals of the old. A set of three arched windows
give the otherwise simple brick building a hint of the Romanesque
style.
The
Boudeman Building was built by Donald O Boudeman an attorney
and insurance agent, who had a fine home on South Street. He
had his offices here though a newer Boudeman Building was built
in 1906 nearby on South Street.
